Mahmutoglu Tower Will Be Designed As The Urfa City Museum

Sanliurfa Municipality will designed the Mahmutoğlu Tower as the City Museum with the financial support of Karacadag Development Agency.
Grant Contract has been signed by Dr. İlhan KARAKOYUN, Secretary-General of the Agency, and Dr. Eşref FAKIBABA, Mayor of Sanliurfa. According to Contract, Agency will support 75 percent of the project's total costs.
Mr. Karakoyun said that "As the Agency, we have supported the municipilaty's some other projects before, and these projects were finished at the time assumed. This project and the projects supported before contribute development of the City tourism".
Mr. Fakibaba also said that "Transformation of Mahmutoglu Tower, largely damaged, to City Museum is very important in terms improving tourism of the City. In order to preserve historical structure of old town, they provide significant services and implement important projects."
