Turkey - World Trade Bridge 2013 program for agriculture and food sector was held in Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Congress and Exhibition Center on 25 to 26 November 2013 under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy, with the support of Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) and with the organization of the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey (TUSKON) and 1,453 business people from 140 countries met with 1,500 business people from Turkey.

A total of 1453 people including 55 from Latin America, 221 from Asia Pacific, 676 from Africa, 31 from Middle East, 110 from Europe and Balkans, 306 from Eurasia and 20 from North America attended to program which include food, agriculture and fast moving consumer products and related machinery sector. It is expected that at the end of the program 25 thousand job interviews will be done.
Agriculture and food industry will have a more prominent position than oil in the future. 25 percent of our working population is employed in agricultural sector. We are now world’s 7th largest agricultural economy. We are the European champion in agriculture. Today, our 6.060 company are exporting agricultural products to 205 country and customs territory. Our goal is to reach 40 billion dollar in exports of agricultural products in 2023.
10 companies operating in the agriculture and food sector in Diyarbakir attended to the program as a result of collaboration of Diyarbakir Investment Support Office and Diyarbakir Entrepreneurial Businessmen's Association (DİGİAD).
