Karacadağ Development Agency Administrative Board Completes Brazil-argentina Study Visit

Karacadağ Development Agency Delegation who completed Brazil and Argentina study visits held on December 01 to 09, 2013 for sharing knowledge and experience on agriculture, livestock, agricultural research and development, agro-based industries, SMEs, clustering, support and promotion of investment, urbanization, the fight against poverty and tourism, sectors, examine best practices in place, get in touch with institutions / organizations operating in development field and in order to benefit from the experience of the actors involved returned to the country.
Argentina Industrial Union - Regional Development Department, Argentina Ministry of Development - Regional Development Department and the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Under secretariat for Investment Development and Trade Promotion were visited and information was obtained about their activities, their programs and projects about regional development and growth, their activities to Support SMEs, management and strengthen their competitiveness, facilitate access to financial resources, investment promotion, to establish links between international investors and local companies and the development of partnerships. In addition, various discussions were held with Turkey's Embassy in Buenos Aires and the Commercial Counselor during Argentina study visit.
Karacadağ Development Agency Delegation visited Brazilian Agricultural Research Company (EMBRAB), the Sao Paulo Livestock Institute, Sao Paulo Agricultural Institute. These institutions are playing important role in the agricultural supply in Brazil. During the visit, activities of these institutions and agricultural methods have been examined. Institutions’ officials have expressed that Brazilian Government give importance to such institutions and these institutions are important for improving Brazil's agricultural supply and increasing competitiveness and main aim of these institutions are innovation and sustainability in agriculture and increase the productivity in livestock.
