Diyarbakır Was İntroduced İn Japan İn Tokyo

Diyarbakır's historical heritage and tourist destinations were introduced in JATA Tourism and Travel Fair. JATA Tourism and Travel Fair was held between 23-27 September 2015 at Tokyo Big Sight.
JATA is one of the well-attended fairs in Asia. It has significant opportunities for the participants especially in the field of international business negotiations. This year, 1.161 institutions from 141 countries participated at JATA Tourism and Travel Fair. The fair brings together many tourism professionals to develop partnerships and quite affordable and a wide choice of possibilities to make bilateral agreements offered.
Turkey's ambassador to Tokyo, Mr. Bulent Meriç, paid a visit to Diyarbakır stand and received information about the work of the Karacadağ Development Agency in the field of tourism and his Excellency has recommended more promotion for Diyarbakır.
Karacadağ Development Agency Diyarbakir Investment Support Office was handed mainly Japanese and English brochure, Ongözlü and Malabadi Bridge themed key chains and CD materials to visitors and served Diyarbakır’s famous twice-baked Turkish delight (lokum).
