Two financial support programmes were announced under the name of Economic Development Financial Assistance Program and Tourism Infrastructure Financial Assistance Program on 23 May of 2011.

Until the deadline of submission of project proposals, 29.07.2011, 46 projects were submitted for Tourism Infrastructure Financial Assistance Program. One application reached after the deadline has been eliminated without any assessment.Preliminary Review of project proposals that received in accordance with the related guidelines and regulations was made by the staff of the Agency, technical and financial reviews were conducted by the Independent Evaluators and have been checked by the Evaluation Committee. In order to measure the risk status of the successful project proposals “pre-monitoring visits” were made; before submitting list of successful projects to the Board of Directors by the Secretary General, budget items and budget amounts were examined and ineligible costs excluded from the budget. As a result of this review, the final list of successful projects was presented in the Board of Directors and after the required review and evaluations by the Board of Directors, the final list has been approved. Under this program, total of 6,200,000.00 TL will be given to 15 successful projects which are in the main list.Applicants of eliminated projects will be informed in written notice.Contracts will be signed, within 10 days from the date of notification to applicants together with the documents requested. In other case the applicant will be deemed to have waived from the support in accordance to related regulations. We would like to thank to all institutions and organizations which were prepared the project for our program and wish the program contribute to economic, social and cultural development of our region.
