Agency’s Delegation visited Seoul Compact Smart City which called Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ)” on the last day in South Korea. Firstly, a film that about Incheon Past, Present and Future was showed and then, a presentation about international companies’s activities in Incheon was made by Incheon’s managers.
More than 200 countries investment offices located in Incheon which literally means castle that surrounded by water, and it offers easy access to trade facilities and convenient operation oppurtinities. In this region cargo services can be performed quickly and easily. A large part of this region was obtained by filling the ocean and 34% of the region area is green.After the presentation, delegation look aroud the scale model of Incheon which show the future of the City, and Incheon managers introduced the technical details of the how it has been shaped. Scaled model shown in the project has been completed 50% so far, planned to be completed by 2020.Incheon International Airport was built by filling between the three small islands and it has been selected as serving the best airport in the world the for seven years. Many countries large firms have invested in IFEZ, and they are building multi-floors buildings rapidly, an done 151-story skyscraper planned to be completed by 2018 and is planned to be the world's second tallest building. There are research and training centers and university departments in the region. Financing of the construction of Incheon, however, is met by agreements with private enterprises. KEIL International Company, a company associated with the development of the region. 100% state support is available in the area. One of the areas in the region, the "Cheongna City" planned to became a center for the insurance and banking sector and international service. There is also a living area and offices in the region. If a field in the region, "Yeongjong Logistics Center" is expected to be in the logistics base.Agency’s delegation completed their Korean visit after Compact Smart Study, and flighted to Japan to attend one of the world’s most important tourism fair JATA and meet with various Japanese companies.
