Diyarbakir’s historical, touristic places, culture and cuisine have been exhibited at first time organized “Diyarbakır Promotion Days” events during four days. Diyarbakır Promotion Days Event organized under the coordination of Diyarbakır Governorship.
Diyarbakır Governor Mustafa TOPRAK, Deputy Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock Kutbettin ARZU, former president of The Grand National Assembly of Turkey and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Hikmet ÇETIN, deputies Mine Lök BEYAZ, Cuma IÇTEN, Oya ERONAT, Mahmut KAÇAR, Republican People’s Party’s Deputy Chairmans Gürsel TEKIN and Sezgin TANRIKULU, Deputy Governor of Diyarbakır Mustafa CAN, Secretary General of Karacadag Development Agency İlhan KARAKOYUN, district governors, former deputies, NGO’s representatives attended to the opening ceremony of the event.Samples of Diyarbakır Cuisine Were Presented to Visitors. Diyarbakir scone made by Diyarbakır Bakery, Diyarbakır’s special dessert burma kadayıf made by Sıtkı Usta, marzipan, walnut sausage, almond sausage, almond, Egil grape and çiğ köfte presented. Moreover, Tavacı Recep Usta and Hayatın Lezzet Durağı Diyarbakır Local Cusine amazed the visitors with their dishes. And copper gift items made by Tanrikulu Coppersmith and silk pusi got great attention.
