Businessmen Showed Great İnterest To Diyarbakır

The Governor of Diyarbakır Mustafa Toprak, the President of Turkey Exporters Assembly Mehmet Büyükekşi, Parliament Members from Diyarbakır Galip Ensarioğlu, Süleyman Hamzaoğulları, Mine Lök Beyaz, Cuma İçten, Oya Eronat, Rector of the Dicle University Prof. Ayşegül Jale Saraç, the Secretary General of Karacadağ Development Agency İlhan Karakoyun, President of the Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange Fahrettin Akyıl, Deputy Governors of Diyarbakır Cemal Hüsnü Kansız, Zafer Ergin and other governors and large number of industrialists and businessmen were also attended to the meeting held in Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Cultural Center.President of the Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange Fahrettin Akyıl and President of the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce Remzi Can said “We are waiting investors to Diyarbakır” as first speakers of the meeting.President of the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) Mehmet Büyükekşi explained export figures in his speech. And he continued: “In 2011, Diyarbakır with 170 million dollars export became 35’th province in export ranking. In the first 9 months of 2012, it reached to 143 million dolars export by 24 percent increase. We believe that Diyarbakır has much higher export potential.” He also declared national export figures of September: “In September, exports increased by 7,4 percent compared to the same month last year to 11,408 billion dollars. And first 9 months of the year by 12,1 percent increase it reached to 111,463 billion dollars.”After Büyükekşi’s speech the Governor of Diyarbakır Mustafa Toprak emphasized advantages of Diyarbakır by the new incentive system. M. Mehdi Eker, the Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock, said that this meeting was indicator of the importance of Diyarbakır for TİM. Zafer Çağlayan, the Minister of Economy, said: “Turkey is going through a unprecedented success process”. And also he said that they made positive discrimination to the 6’th region in the new incentive system.After the speeches, Zafer Çağlayan, the Minister of Economy and M. Mehdi Eker, the Minister of Food Agriculture and Livestock, were presented plaques to authorities of exporting firms in the top 10 list in 2011.
