Karacadağ Development Agency Going To Give 19 Million Tl Grant Support

“Many people have been brought into employment thanks to total of 41 million TL grant support of Karacadağ Development Agency that given 268 projects between 2010 and 2011. Thans to this support, very important tourism centers of Diyarbakır and Sanlıurfa were restored and were acquired to the tourism. I reminisce thankfully the entrepreneurs that benefited from these projects despite who pump and inject pessimism. Agency is going to provide total of 19 million TL Support in industry, economy and tourism sectors. In addition to the Agencies’ support, our Ministry has significant fifty percent of grant to the projects. Hundreds of people are employed in this way. We are making huge efforts for the development of the region. We will continue to implement these projects with determination. It does matter for us that some hope for help from pessimism, tears and bombs, despite them, we are going to embrace life, use the language of love and peace, implement this projects that create employment opportunities in this region. Unemployed, poor and investor’s hearts is with us. They are looking at us. We are going to support them. Where chambers have a big responsibilities on this issue.

“This year Karacadağ Development Agency will provide 19 million grant support under three separate programs. Last two years 77 million TL has been transferred in to the Diyarbakır and Sanliurfa’s economy with contribution of projects owners. This year’s programs are Economic Development Support Program for SMS’s, Tourism Infrastructure Financial Support, Industrial Infrastructure Support Program. Our goal is to increase the capacity of firms. Information meetings are going to be held for everyone to be aware of in provincial capitals and districts and announcement to be done. 10 project preparation training will be given with two day long and also in order to guide the potential applicants technical desk support will be given by Agency experts. This year project applications will be taken online from November 3, 2012 and will end December 28, 2012.”Programs to be implemented this year
1- Economic Development Financial Support Program
The purpose of this program is creation of new jobs and employment opportunities through supporting institutional process of micro and small enterprises operating manufacturing and tourism industry in Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa Region, development of its physical and human infrastructures, scaling up, increasing access to financial resources, capacity building in planning and marketing, increasing the capacity of production of goods with high added value, support for innovation and R&D activities, export orientation or development of existing export capacity, supporting of entrepreneurs that able to form their own business and willing to expose their existing entrepreneurial capability.

Program Budget: 13.000.000 TL 
The amount of support will be given per project 
Minimum: 40.000,00 TL
Maximum: 400.000,00 TL 
Who can apply?

• Private businesses (micro and small enterprises),
• Producer co-operatives,
• Producer associations,
• Other real and legal persons,

Grant support can be given to projects up to 50 %
Application Deadline: December 28, 2012
2-Tourism Infrastructure Financial Support Program
Purpose of this program is to improve tourism infrastructure in Diyarbakır and Sanlıurfa Region, mobilize tourism potential an sustain tourism potential, provide to be gained the historical, cultural and natural elements that are important tourism attraction in the region to the tourism through restored and rehabilitated, to convert the region into the tourism center with an effective promotional activity and diversifying the types of tourism, increase number of tourist and length of stay of tourists, create new employment opportunities in the sector thus contribute to the region’s economy by reducing unemployment and poverty. 
Program Budget: 3.000.000 TL 
The amount of support will be given per project 
Minimum: 75.000,00 TL
Maximum: 750.000,00 TL

• Institutions and organizations affiliated Ministries
• Local Authorities (Special Provincial Administrations, Municipalities and Metropolitan Municipalities, village legal entities),

• Faculties, Schools and Institutes,
• Public Professional Organizations,
• Civil Society Organizations (Foundations, Associations, Unions, Federations, etc).

Grant support can be given to projects up to 75 %

3 - Industrial Infrastructure Financial Support Program
The purpose of this program is increasing of production capacity and employment capacity of Business Development Centers, Organized Industrial Zones and Small Industry Zones that are already existed or to be set up in the Diyarbakır and Şanlıurfa Region through improving their infrastructure and creation of organized investment zones that its infrastructure is ready for new inverstors / entrepreneurs
Program Budget: 3.000.000 TL 
The amount of support will be given per project 
Minimum: 75.000,00 TL
Maximum: 750.000,00 TL
