Karacadag Development Agency Begins 2014 - 2018 Regional Plan Studies

Karacadağ development agency began preparation of 2014-2018 Regional Planwhich will determine the future of the Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır. Our agency ,has contributed to the development of the its own region from the day of its establishment, will performmeeting on “ Urbanization, Urban Transformation Advisory and Quality of Life” within the framework of the Regional Plan between 13 to 14 November 2012.
The first meeting will be held at November 13th 2012 with the participation of Ministry of Development, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, Dicle University, Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering Faculty of the Dicle University, Sur Municipality Bağlar Municipal, Yenişehir Municipality, the Municipality of Kayapınar, Ergani Municipality, the Municipality of Bismil, Silvan Council, the General Secretariat of the Special Provincial Administration, Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urban Development, Department for Provincial Administration, Istanbul Area Management Authority, Local Agenda 21, the Chamber of Architects, the Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate, Chamber of City Planners, GABB the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, GAP Regional Development Administration institutions and public agencies and NGO representatives, in DiyarbakirPrestige Hotel.
With the decision of the Council of Ministers sur district declared as 'risk areas’ for the purpose of by removing distorted and unhealthy Structuring and enhance the historic fabric of the region,The final report will be an important work for the Regional Plan after the meeting which will discuss change and transformation in Sur district of Diyarbakır
Second meeting under the same title held at the Sanliurfahotel Hilton Garden Inn, in November 14 2012.Ministry of Development, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Şanlıurfa Municipality, Harran University, Faculty of Architecture, Karaköprü Municipality, the Municipality of Suruç ,Birecik Municipality, the Municipality of Viransehir, Siverek Municipality, Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urban Planning, Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, the General Secretariat of the Special Provincial Administration, the Provincial disaster and Emergency Directorate, Directorate of Provincial Administration, Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Local Agenda 21, the Chamber of Architects of Turkey, the GAP Regional Development Administration officials will attend the meeting.
On the other hand,both in Diyarbakir and Sanliurfa provinces and in our country still the most important problems of unemployment , employment and labor market, will discuss on Employment and Labour Market Consultation Meetings. During these meetings, the low labor force participation and unemployment, informal employment, education, employment, relationships, professional competence, applications of employment policy in the arearelated on these issues Turkey and Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa provinces will be discussed. Through meetings the Regional Plan prepared in a participatory mannerwill contribute to the 10. National Development Plan which will cover the period 2014-2018 is carried out by theMinistry of Development.
