Karacadağ Development Agency continues to support the SMEs. The process of signing Contracts (% 50 grant) with 70 firms operating in Diyarbakir and Şanlıurfa, goes on..

A 13 million TL grant will be provided to 70 firms for their projects being successful as a result of technical and financial evaluation. It is expected to create 1.000 additional employment and purchase 350 new machine at the scope of the projects. SMEs aiming to grow by 25 percent with 13,5 million TL co-financing contribution will increased their productivity. 
Support Contract between Karacadag Development Agency and Sema Furniture (one of the 70 companies receiving support for home furnishing) has been signed by the Secretary General of Karacadağ DA, Dr. İlhan KARAKOYUN, and the owner of the firm, Şeyhmus ÇOBAN, in Karacadağ Development Agency's Building. On signing ceremony Dr. KARAKOYUN said that "We have been signed Support Contract with 70 companies operating in Diyarbakir and Şanlıurfa. Our Agency will grant 13 million to companies. We bring totaly 26,5 million to our region's economy with co-financing of the firms. We hope that 10 per cent of these firms to begin exports and current firms increase their exporting products and countries". Dr. KARAKOYUN also stated that "Our goal it to contribute to Turkey's export target of $500 billion in 2023 with SME's in our region".

Mr. ÇOBAN: We aim to grow by 25 per cent and start to export.
Owner of the Sema Furniture, Şeyhmus ÇOBAN, said that my firm would carry out its growth plans with the support of the Agency. ÇOBAN also said that "We are producing bedroom and dining sets as a company with the brand 'Şema'. At the beginning, we were producing in an area of 100 square meters in Small Industrial Area. Last year, we have moved on  a 2.400 square meters area in the Organized Industrial Zone of Diyarbakır. We are aiming to increase our production by 25 per cent and our employees from 15 to 20. At the same time, we are planning to export to Iran and Iraq, and increase the quality of products with the use of new machines".
