Hasan ÖNDER came together with Secretary General Dr. İlhan KARAKOYUN. During the meeting, Hasan ÖNDER said that he was born in 1969 in Diyarbakır as a son of retired worker father and a housewife mother. After military high school, I graduated from İstanbul Technical University Department of Mechanical Engineering. Completing trainings, I decided to become entrepreneurs by setting up my own company in heating and cooling sector in 1993 as an engineer. We found the growth potential of the sector, then we became the manufacturer. Established Airfel industrial marketing company with our friends of school in 1999. Undertook a distributor of many world brands in a short time. Achieved rapid growth in the heating and cooling industry with our own brand Airfel. We partner with leading company Sanko Holding in 2001. Since then, I have continued to serve as the CEO of Airfel. Japan-based Daikin, air-conditioning giant, bought Airfel in June 2011. Since then, I have been working as a Turkey’ Daikin CEO and Daikin Europe member of board of directors. Önder noted that he is going to join a series of events tos hare his experiences.
Secretary General Dr. İlhan KARAKOYUN said that Hasan ÖNDER as a young entrepreneur from Diyarbakir is a good example for us. We believe that if the appropriate conditions are provided, new entrepreneurs can emerge in Diyarbakir.
