Turkey’s Shoes Will Be Produced İn Sanliurfa!

A cooperation protocol was signed on the Shoemakers Industrial Zone project that is planned to be established over 130.000 m2 in the Sanliurfa Organized Industrial Zone. This project will be jointly initiated by Sanliurfa Governorate, Sanliurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ŞUTSO) and Karacadag Development Agency. Through the project suitable areas will be created for the investors who want to make new investments in the field of shoes manufacturing.
At the signing ceremony, Izzettin KÜÇÜK, Governor of Sanliurfa, stated that Sanliurfa Organized Industrial Zone began to take place among the fastest growing organized industrial zones in Turkey. Shoemakers Industrial Zone will provide significant investment opportunities to the investors in Sanliurfa.
Mehmet BÜYÜKEKŞİ, President of Turkey Exporters Assembly, emphasized that Sanliurfa will be a manufacturing and exporting region through the investments. Shoemakers Industrial Zone will attract shoe firms to Sanliurfa. Initial daily production target is 40-50 thousand pairs of shoes and in the long run 100 thousand pairs of shoes and we aimed 15 thousand new employment. I am inviting investors across Turkey to invest here.
