Feasibility Support For Zerzevan Castle From Karacadağ Development Agency
Zerzevan Castle Tourist Welcome Center Feasibility Project was prepared for the tourists who visit Zerzevan castle in the Çınar district of Diyarbakır which was used as a military settlement during the Roman Empire.
The feasibility project prepared by Dicle University and supported by Karacadağ Development Agency is a preliminary preparation for the Tourist Reception Center, where the introductory hall, the foyer area, MiniaDiyarbakır and Zerzevan Arkeopark will take place in order to accommodate the visitors to the castle. The protocol which was prepared for the implementation of the project was signed by Prof. Dr. Talip Gul who is the rector of Dicle University and Dr. Hasan MARAL who is the Secretary General of the Agency. A large model of the castle will be located in the welcome centre. Also, "MiniaDiyarbakır" will be created from the stone miniatures of 42 historical works in the city center and located in welcome centre in order to contribute to the urban tourism of Diyarbakır.
