President Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN and Mr. Mustafa VARANK, Minister of Industry and Technology have opened the Göbeklitepe Ruins within the scope of the Revitalizing of History in Sanliurfa Project that supported within the framework of Turkey-EU Financial Cooperation. Speaking at the opening, President Erdoğan said that Göbeklitepe is so important place that human history needs to be rewritten.

President Erdoğan continue; with its contributions to the common cultural treasure of humanity, Göbeklitepe has already become a very important reference in terms of showing the depth of the civilization roots in Anatolia. Together with the discovery of Göbeklitepe, the Anatolian family, which is the homeland of the human family, adds a new value to its numerous historical values. The findings point out how the 'medina', an ancient concept of our civilization, has emerged as the need for collective co-existence of humanity. We observed from the ruins that, as people have always been put forward, people have not first settled and then build buildings that symbolize their beliefs and the process has been carried out in reverse.
