Minister Mustafa Varank Said That Textile Specialized Organized Industrial Zone Will Strengthen Diyarbakir's Power
Industry and Technology Minister Varank visited some factories in Organized Industrial Zone in Diyarbakır and received information about production.
Minister Varank participated in Diyarbakir industrial infrastructure investments introduction and the signature of the Textile Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) allocation contract ceremony. In his speech, he said that they had allocated their parcels to 56 companies in Textile Specialized Organized Industrial Zone. “These companies, which will invest 305 million TL in total, will create new job opportunities for 8000 citizens. Diyarbakir has achieved an increase of 492 percent in textile exports last year. This is a very important indicator in terms of showing the potential and capability of the city" said that he believed that important records could be broken in the field of textiles. Varank emphasized that Textile Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) will add strength to the city's economic power and the economic power will return to both the region and the country.
