Gap Angel Investment Network First Appeared in World Angel Investment Forum
Established to develop startup and angel investment ecosystem in GAP provinces, the GAP Angel Investment Network is the first angel investment network in the region and the first angel investment network established in the world under the leadership of regional Development Agencies.
The World Angel Investment Forum is the most comprehensive event on angel investment in the world and was held in Istanbul on 17-19 February 2019. Many people attended the event, which was considered as the "Davos" of the Startup investment ecosystem. Croatian President Kolinda Grabar KITAROVIC, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem KASAPOĞLU, former Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet ŞIMŞEK and Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri VESELI, including many ministers and senior bureaucrats attended to the forum as well as angel investors from many countries of the world.
As the GAP Angel Investment Network, for the first time, a stand was opened at this event and the GAP Angel Investment Network was introduced with the investment opportunities of the region. Our Secretary General Dr. Hasan MARAL made a presentation on the Investment Opportunities of the Region and the GAP Angel Investment Network and all the angel investors were invited to invest in the region.
